Local media plays a very big roll in our philosophy. The media is our eyes , ears ,nose and mouth and portrays the need in the community on a large level to see if the need can be met or advertise that needs have been met , with the hope of their heart wanting to get involved.

At Desert Valley Church, the new 2010 summer education tutoring and social activity program was implemented. With a combination of Desert Valley Church allowing the program to run throughout the summer , and Phoenix Coyotes Ice Den , Karate, Pump it Up and Az on the Rocks(rock Climing) , all of these supporters provided a safe, fun and educational place to learn , have fun and exercice while gaining social skills "It is amazing what a little caring , compassion can do for a teen." Desert Valley Church Gives Back
Pastor Ralp Pollack and staff hosted our first annual 2010 summer tutoring program with New Exodos and United Youth and Family Serives. His church opened their arms to over 18 children a day for the entire summer to allow much needed education enrichment. These children live in group home's and range from 8 yrs old to 17 ears old. Phil McILveen Ceo of New Exodos has been the volunteer distribution coordinator for the local Toys for Tots program for over 5 years for most of Maricopa county.
New Exodos serves housing in the valley in two ways . Each year for about 7 years from home giveaways to home makeovers to deserving families in need, to partnering with War Room Ministries for youth mentorship programs and residential youth placement. With continued support from the Room Store and East Valley Disaster Services.

We have chosen to help 66 orphaned, now housed families and 33 parents fill some Christmas wish lists .By collaborating with Agape Adoption Agency of Arizona, Inc. this 2010 holiday season and wishing for many to come. Agape is a member of the National Network of Adoption Advocacy Programs, a collaborative partnership dedicated to supporting and enhancing the effectiveness adoption programs and developing programs in diverse cultural communities which utilize the One Church One Child concept. Agape Adoption Agency of Arizona, Inc. serves as Arizona's Regional Response Team for the national Adoption Exchange Association, which hosts the AdoptUSKids website.
